What We Do

We run programmes, events and workshops to help more people become successful at starting and growing companies.

Successful businesses are led by successful people who have learnt processes and behaviours to help them get ahead.

At Mum’s Garage we teach these processes and behaviours to give more people the opportunity to be successful at building a business and making an impact.

Our Approach

Most people aren’t taught how to start a business.

At school and university we’re taught how to work in them, but working for a company is a completely different process from starting your own.

We focus on teaching people the mindset and skills that have proven to be successful for us and the people we work with. We provide community and connections for budding entrepreneurs.

Entrepreneurship is a very fulfilling pathway, but it can become hard quickly without the right support, and with the wrong advice.

How To Get Involved:

Come along to one of our events to experience what we’re about.

When you are ready to commit to making a change and developing your ideas, join our ‘Ideas You Can Execute‘ program to transition from an employee to a budding entrepreneur.

If you’re further down the track and you know what you want to commit the next 2+ years working on then our stage two programme, ”A Product People Want’  may be for you.

Our programmes are the backbone of what we do. But we also run workshops to facilitate specific skill development which we partner with other startup experts to deliver.
