Turn that passion project of yours into a sustainable endeavour. Build a business alongside other aspiring entrepreneurs, outside of your day job.

Starting a business is hard, because most of us have never been taught how to do it.

CO.STARTERS is a structured, in-person, nine-week programme designed to help turn your great idea into a real business. We equip aspiring entrepreneurs with the latest global startup tools needed to turn ideas into action, and our next programme is kicking off 25th April in Eden Terrace, Auckland.

Who's It For?

1. People with aspirations to start a business or movement

2. Anyone who wants to escape the corporate rat-race and is interested in starting their own business on the side

3. People interested in applying entrepreneurial concepts to become more exceptional at their job

How Does It Work?

1. Getting Together With Others
You'll meet with a group of 10-16 aspiring entrepreneurs, and an experienced programme facilitator, once a week for 9 weeks.

2. Business Foundations
Each week we will cover a different critical element of your business.

3. Experienced Help
Guest speakers are brought in weekly to help participants learn from the experience of others in the community who have built businesses before.

What Are The Outcomes?

With CO.STARTERS, you'll walk away with:

  • Clarity around your business idea
  • Confidence in your ability to execute
  • A clear actionable plan on how to move forward
  • Lasting friendships to support you on your journey

Gain crucial support, build relationships with other entrepreneurs, and fast-track your business idea! The programme has now helped hundreds of entrepreneurs around the world.

Who's Running It?

Mum's Garage is one of Auckland's largest startup communities, and supports founders and young companies right from idea stage to growth. We're providing high-impact programmes, workshops, events and resources, and are passionate about supporting people making a positive impact in the world.

CO.STARTERS is a very successful global initiative based out of Chattanooga, TN, which Mum's Garage is facilitating as a delivery partner. Each week, a facilitator will run the session alongside a guest speaker who has real-life experience in the material.

Read why Mum's Garage have decided to facilitate the CO.STARTERS programme:

CO.STARTERS is different to other business development programs because of its collaborative, non-intimidating environment. The program is developed and run by a genuine group of people on a mission to help others learn and collaborate to create something awesome.

How much time will I need to devote to this programme in total?

Who facilitates the sessions?
Natalie Robinson, founder of Mum's Garage, will be taking the February 7th cohort. Natalie has been working with founders and startup teams, helping them grow their businesses, for several years.

Who are the guest speakers?
